We do appreciate you understanding that the area experienced a heat wave (highs over 110 degrees), the likes of which have not been seen in decades. We will reach out to the vending company regarding the product and machines. We are in the process of upgrading the laundry room with all new machines. The housekeeping staff did bring me more towels and washcloths. Which they did not do, and later said they only clean every three days. When I called to ask about it- they said they would get right to me. I called the night before to request it, but it did not get cleaned. I materials I received upon check in said to ask for a cleaning on 8 am or before the day I wanted it cleaned. We had to call to get someone to fix our tv.
I will say it was super hot that day in OKC.
Our air didn't work, so someone came to fix it ( twice actually) and while it helped it was still over 75 in our room. When inquiring about it, they told me it was "under maintenance" but there was no sign and the laundry room was unlocked with door open. Which left me with dripping wet laundry and no way to dry it. The laundry room was open and the washing machine worked, but the dryers did not. The coke machine sodas were hot ( and $2 for a canned coke). A few little chips in the bathtub and such, but good. Room was actually okay, it's an older building, but was roomy. We appreciate you and hope we will have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. We will take this information in hopes of correcting the issues so they don't happen again. I sincerely apologize you had such a poor experience. Customer service at Best Western was great the talked to the hotel and cancelled our last night and discounted our one horrible stay with them. We packed up the next morning, booked a night in another hotel and didn't look back. We slept in the room with a smell of musty wet carpet. Came back a few hrs later and got kids to bed and then realized the carpet was wet on the side of the ac unit, about a five by five area. Got in the third room and decided it was time for dinner. Returned to the front desk and was given a new room. Moved all our stuff into new room, and found out the sink was not draining. Went to front desk and was given a different room.
